I was thinking, population of Malaysia is growing year by year, poor public transportation system, and the traffic jam issues are getting worst. How to relate the traffic report with my property investment strategy and planning?

It links me to the LRT extension mega project, one of the hot topics in town lately. Both Ampang and Kelana Jaya LRT line extensions will have total of 26 new stations (correct me if I’m wrong). Many property investors now are eyeing on those rental properties within walking distance to new LRT station especially apartment and condominium.

But, there are also some investors who are lack of confident on government of Malaysia still keep their mind wait and see first. No matter how, the demand of rental property nearby LRT station or others public transport for sure will increase tremendously thanks to our bad public transportation system.

Have you get ready on new property hotspot based on new LRT extension?

Just bought my first shop lot. No LRT at all in Kedah now. Hopefully, it can return revenue soon. ;)

Shop lot always has better capital appreciation and rental rates compare to residential property. Congratulation! You definately are in your way to be financial freedom!
