Spend Free Time to Save More Money or Make Extra Money to Become Wealthier?
25 January 2010 | Category: Financial Planning
Which one is more important to do between “Making Extra Money” and “Saving More Money” during your free time? Save money first or earn money to become wealthier? For me, I spend my time priority to make money first.
Don’t get me wrong! I have no doubt to say both making money and saving money are equally important! Of course, both can be done concurrently. But, my question is, how much money you can save with limited income?
Comparison: Make Money vs. Save Money
Let’s do a comparison with some calculation for two persons, Mr. Jayson and Mr. Wilson, who spend their time priority for making money and saving money, respectively, as shown on below:
- Person 1: Mr. Jayson spends his 3 hours free time daily to earn extra money wisely, example: write an article for his blog that continuous earning him 10 cents per article for every day, perhaps the income may come from google adsense, nuffnang ads, innity, infolinks and etc.
- Person 2: Mr. Wilson spends his 3 hours free time daily to do something, example: breakfast at house, cook dinner after work, wash cash, laundry and etc that saves him $10.00 per day.

Based on the comparison on above, do you realize the power of making smart money online by spending our priceless time for 3 hours daily instead of working extra hard to save from the limited income?
