
The most exciting property investment in 2007 – NiuZeXui commercial centre, also known as NZX Boulevard is hardly 20% occupied and is now officially dead. A quick check at iProperty’s website on NZX reveals some interesting information.

Today’s TheStar newspaper headline says it all – No hustle and bustle at largest covered boulevard. RM1.5 million to RM3 million is a huge amount of money, at the time of writing, iProperty has a few listing for sale, going for RM1.5 million.

I think it is a great idea, the only issues are location and accessibility. Maybe things will be slightly better when RapidKL convert the existing LRT deport into a LRT station, then again, with Sime Darby and its huge project known as Oasis Damansara further down, it is going to pose a threat to NZX’s revival. Anyway, the NZX name is terrible, it is a mouthful to pronounce.
