Menara YNH, the green building project proposed by YNH Property Berhad, built following to specifications of the Green Building Index (GBI) will be one of the latest green projects introduced in Malaysia for year 2010 located at a strategic location next to Shangri-La Hotel KL.
Kuwait Finance House Berhad (KFH) had few weeks ago aborted its plan to purchase one of the two office blocks at Menara YNH. However, YNH said it would proceed with building the project and expects to start work within the next 6 months. Some features of Menara YNH:
- Consists of two 45-storey office blocks (600,000 sq ft net lettable space each)
- 3-storey retail podium
- Gross development value (GDV) approximately RM2bil (or RM1,500 per sq ft)
- Target to complete the project within 5 years
