Bali is one of over 13,000 islands in the Indonesian archipelago and is located just over 2 kilometres from the eastern tip of the island of Java and west of the island of Lombok.
The island home to approximately 4 million people is approximately 144 kilometres from east to west and 80 kilometres north to south.
The islands varied landscape of hills and mountains, rugged coastlines and sandy beaches, lush rice terraces and barren volcanic hillsides provide a picturesque backdrop to the colourful and deeply spiritual culture of this ‘Island of The Gods’.

Traveling Tips:
- Sunblock is a must for whole journey
- Mosquito repellent will ensure you a good sleep
- Umbrella for rainy day. For couple use, i suggest to bring one for each person as retractable umbrella used to be too small for two persons.
- Do not put liquid thing into your hand carry bag. eg. toothpaste, sunblock, perfume, etc.
- Dolphin tour is another attractive activity for you to experience at Bali Island. The tour normally will visit Lovina beach north coast of Bali Island to see the dolphins jumping and dancing welcome the sunrise. Be noted that dolphin tour usually start around 3.30 – 4.00am. Ya, NO JOKE! Its start in the early morning! So, if you are interested to experience it, schedule your journey properly.
- Do not forget to include IDR 150,000 for passenger service charge into your travel budget. Payment shall be made when you pass through kastam counter at Ngurah Rai International Airport.

Shopping Tips:
- Use 70% discount as benchmark to negotiate a good price. Except for those fixed price shop.
- Speak in Bahasa Melayu or mixed with some Bahasa Indon (if you able to) will add you credit during price negotiation
- Example 1: IDR 10,000 bisa? bisa (bahasa indon) = can (english)
- Example 2: Saya tidak bisa beli itu! (bahasa indon) = I can’t afford it!
- Dont know where is right location to start your shopping?
- Sukawati – A traditional art market which is the best place for shopping as most of the balinese style products available at Tanah Lot, Kuta and other areas are supplied from there. Pricing is much more cheaper than other areas for same item.
- Pasar petang & malam nearby Tanah Lot Temple is another good place for you to shop for all those balinese stuff to bring back home. Because, there are alot unique stuff there. But, please dont be surprised or dissappointed that those stuff will be keep repeating at most of the stalls.
- Kuta is another good place for shopping. It mixed both budgeted and branded stuff. One of the most happening area for night-life.
